Is this the smoking gun in the Ramsey case? The following reversal was found by Tony Feo of Harrisburg, North Carolina. It could very well be the reversal that clinches it all. Congratulations Tony!

Forwards Patsy says: "We feel that there are at least two people on the face of the earth that know who did this and that is the killer and someone else that person may have confided in." Backwards, she says: "I am that person. Safe and I'll beat this. Seen that rape"

The forward is played first. Then the first half of the reversal, I'm that person, is played at three speeds. Then the second half of the reversal is played at three speeds, Safe, and I'll beat this. Seen that rape. Then the entire reversal is played at once followed by the forwards once more and immediately reversed. Fantastic complementarity. We feel there are at least two people who know / I'm that person.

The reversal on the father says: "Molest. You're a bad person," followed by a reversal on the mother, "You're a man with a zip.

Dad: …..[we know that there's many people] that are praying for us…. "We use it. Must they warn me"

Dad:? we want to thank those people that care about us… "Our rape hurt"

Mom: …people we haven't seen for years have come to call and be supportive… "The lock with muck" (The reversal "lock" appeared many times in this transcript. Its meaning is unknown)

Dad: …really what I guess prompted me to, made me realise that this was something that was beyond our family was that someone told me there was a newspaper article I think in Atlanta… "Her name was mocked / Hurt the silly life"

Dad: ..it comes from knowing that the only way my family can move on now is to resolve why, who, this happened… "I know who to kill"

Dad: …I want whatever resources I can bring to bare, brought to bare… "Killed the source / That little crime stop"

"I was out of my mind and it said don't call the police, that type of thing." "Sealed the lock" (An interesting reversal. Jon Benet was later found in a sealed room in the basement that was missed by the police in earlier searches.)

Mom: "We were just frantic and I immediately, I dialled the police, 911." "Sealed the bad here. You lady mannequin" (Repeat's theme of previous reversal hinting at complicity. The lady mannequin could be her perception of Jon Benet)

Mom: "I called our closest friends and they didn't even ask, I just said come."
"This is a plant. Look into it."

Dad: "One of the detectives asked me and my friend who was there to go through every inch of the house asking us to do that more to give us something to do. Started in the basement and we're just looking and, we had one room in the basement. "Search with them / Then he calls his unit " (These two reversals repeat the events)

Dad: "I opened the door and I turned the light on, I hoped that she was still OK but I could tell she wasn't." " Was there no winner / Her slavery / Molest. You're a bad person." These are unusual reversals for a father in grief. Was there a game being played with no winner? Who is the bad person?

Dad: "We had some initial reactions to who might have been involved." "Washing the slaves lost this new girl." This is a cryptic reversal referencing the "slavery" theme once more. What exactly does "washing" mean?

Mom: "There is a killer on the loose … keep your babies close to you." "Feel the knot / We shook the memory."

Mom: "America has just been hurt so deeply with this." "Our crime."

John Ramsey: "Save yourself, little sailor."

John Ramsey: "Jon Benet, I f...ed her good

John Ramsey: "I'm a serious pervert."

Patsy Ramsey: "He'll get off and marry the Nazi"

John Ramsey: "So sorry. Feel the urges."

Patsy Ramsey. "I now surf with your semen, (secrets/sacred)."

John Ramsey: "Walk, you're innocent."

John Ramsey: "He used my camera."

Interviewer: "I'm saving the perverse video."

John Ramsey: "No-one would expect the executive."

Patsy Ramsey: "Screw(ed) her."

John Ramsey: "Ron may quit. May leave to seal the lock"

Patsy Ramsey: "John (and?) the rest of them are so sick, they're so sick."

Patsey Ramsey: "Innocent (murder?) Molested, struck her head."

The following is a transcript of the clearest reversals found on the May 1997 CNN interview with John and Patsy Ramsey. You can hear the reversals by clicking onto the icon. Following the reversal, I have given a brief overview of the possible meaning each reversal may have. First of all, the following reversal is the most significant….

John: ..at least up until yesterday anytime spent looking at us is time wasted and that in part is why we brought in an investigative team as well to immediately look in other directions..

REMAINDER OF TRANSCRIPT

John: …to those of you who may want to ask, let me address very directly. I did not kill my daughter, Jon Benet. There have also been innuendoes that she has been or was sexually molested, I can tell you they were the most hurtful innuendoes to us as a family… Wife found the Valium. / Now we hate / Got to sell you

Reversal is contradictory to the forwards. Patsy resorted to drugs and an evil deed was served. John is bitter. He has to "sell" the public on their story.

Patsy: …I'm Patsey Ramsey, Jon Benet's mother… And I planned the note Obvious. She planned the ransom note

Patsy: …but let me assure you that I did not kill Jon Benet. I did not have anything to do with it… You're shamed / You feel it Obvious. The shame she feels.

Patsy: we made a firm commitment that we would not speak openly until we had spent time interviewing with the authorities… See your faith Her faith in God.

Patsy: …quite frankly over the past months it has not been real easy to talk with anyone… I'm still a snob / I don't mean it Tears are not genuine. She has isolated herself because she is a snob.

Patsy: ..God has a master plan for all of us and in the fullness of time our family will be united again and we will see Jon Benet… We're running evil The reversal contradicts the forward.

Patsy: …I'd like to take a moment to just let you know how much we have appreciated the hundreds and hundreds of cards and letters and pictures that children have lent me, little angels and books, that wonderfully compassionate caring people from all over the world has sent to us… Dad's myth was our promise / Soul wished mess The first reversal is obscure. There are spiritual reasons behind the current tragedy

John: …we received cards from Canada, Europe, certainly all of the United States. I have corresponded several times with a little girl… Scared. Sounding the lie The lie is rampant and scary.

John: …its just been wonderful, so we've come out of this perhaps differently than you would expect in believing that there really is a lot goodness in the world. And that's been an outcome that I think we certainly wouldn't have anticipated with this kind of tragedy… Nice little girl, sist(er). Let me look. Let me nurse you. You get down on my fire A very concerning reversal. The unconscious flashes behavioural tendencies after he just discussed forwards a letter he received from a little girl. (see previous forward section) The mental image of the little girl sparked this pattern. The reversal gave me the chills!!

Patsey: ….the ad that we placed in our local paper this weekend. This reward money has been offered since the death of Jon Benet, but we felt like it wasn't get out to the public enough, so this ad with her most recent kindergarten picture will be featuring more frequently…. I know you've sin / The soul we kill of you again They are killing Jon Benet all over again by perpetuating the lie. This is a great spiritual crime that is still continuing.

Patsey: …we need that one phone call to this number that will help the authorities come to a conclusion to this case. Please, if you know anything, I beg you to call us… Your man said it / So awkward She is repeating lines given to her by John Ramsey. Its a little awkward.

John: (Talking generically to the killer) We'll find you. We will find you. I have that as a sole mission for the rest of my life. We now fool you He is fooling or conning the public.

Patsey: …the police and investigators have assured us that this is a case which can be solved. You may be alluding the authorities for a time but God knows who you are and we will find you… They'll see your faith She mentions God to make sure the public is aware of her faith.

John: ..an arrest is absolutely necessary in our lives for closure… Results, our warning An unconscious warning. Be careful John - you might not like it if real results are obtained.

John: ..at least up until yesterday anytime spent looking at us is time wasted and that in part is why we brought in an investigative team as well to immediately look in other directions.. Do they love you? I was the drop man with her / I done it. Its a show you're running The "drop man" is obscure. The second reversal is obvious. The investigators are just for show.

Patsy: ..we have just basically read or watched very little. You can't. Its just overwhelming, we're grieving, its hurtful. I can't tell you how bad it is… Cut up spirit. Spirit wolf bursting She is in genuine pain.

John: …frankly for the first few months Patsy and I were really not capable of making any decisions… Say yes again. We can Psyching himself up.

John: ..this was a process that the police went through with us as suspects, I don't believe any new information was provided that we hadn't provided very early on… They love it. Silly sham Contempt for the police. The whole thing is a sham.

Patsy: …those were beautiful pictures, those, I'm so happy that we have them… Evil's answer They are not beautiful pictures. They are representative of their crime

John: …we think there's some very good people working on the case, we are very impressed that the people in DAs office have brought in… Repeat the nervous Once again, a warning. He is nervous about genuine results.

John: ..we think we're a normal American family that loves and values their children… Your life, a crime. Hormone

They are not a normal family but one whose life is that of crime.

More Ramsey reversals

OVERALL CONCLUSION

Whilst there is no doubt in my mind that both Ramseys were involved in the death of Jon Benet I am concerned at the lack of a specific confession in reverse. Compare this to the OJ Simpson reversals on another section on this site - he had has many reversals of confession. This leads me to wonder whether the death of Jon Benet was not an unfortunate accident, or was not in fact committed by the parents themselves but rather by someone else. However, even if this is the case, both parents were involved and had full knowledge. As with all reversal analysis the more tape we have the better our conclusions can be. And media broadcasts are not the best place to find reversals due to the prepared nature of them. A reversal analysis of police interview tapes, for example, would add greatly to unravelling this mystery.
