The Word Within You

Sometimes the most profound truths can be found in the least likely of places. Such is the case with a speech reversal I found last night on TV Evangelist, Pat Robertson. He was being interviewed on CNNs Larry King Show (04/12/00) along with Linda Russell, the mother of child murderess, Susan Smith.

Since my return to Australia in December 99 after living for ten years in the United States, my mind has been consumed with the deeper aspects of Reverse Speech - more specifically though - "How do I communicate these deeper aspects of Reverse Speech in a way that can be accepted and understood."

For centuries philosophers and theologians have theorised about the nature of God and Creation. How does it all happen? We give lip service to deep spiritual truths than can be found across the board of nearly all religious literature. Truths such as: "The Kingdom Of Heaven lives with", "We make our own reality", "In the beginning was the word and the word became flesh and dwelt amongst us,", "God said, let there be light............" But, do we really understand these truths and live and think as though they are "self evident"? The answer simply is, no.

My greatest discovery in Reverse Speech, and the discovery that I find the hardest to communicate and the one I feel the most helpless about, is that, simply, Reverse Speech is the Word (of creation) within. At the deepest metaphoric levels, the metaphors of reverse speech are literally creating our world before us. I see it everyday with my clients - I see it on the media constantly. I see speech reversals paint out some scenario in a persons life and I see this scenario unfold as the weeks go on. Sometimes it can get as specific as "I will have a car accident next week," and then the unconscious begins to creates the necessary sets of circumstances to enable this to happen. Other times it is vague (or more Universal) than that and the unconscious simply creates our lives and the world in which we find ourselves according to the metaphoric structures that we run. What we see with our eyes, and experience with our senses, is simply an extension of the internal world inside of us.

How this process of creation actually plays itself out with the amazing complexity of many other thoughts all interacting together to create the whole, is a mystery to me which at this stage that I am still documenting with reverse speech. I do know this though, and that is it has something to do with "The Whirlwind."

This is probably the most powerful and most frequent of all reverse speech metaphors. It is discussed constantly in reverse speech as the central force of creation - a "force", if you will, that surrounds both us and the world in which we live. Reverse Speech describes an intricate communication process taking place between the unconscious "Word" (or metaphor), and the collective whirlwind. These communication signals and the power of the whirlwind are somehow involved with this creation process, enabling our thoughts within to manifest into reality - "The word became flesh..............."

Reverse Speech goes even further than this and says that we, as humans, have the power of the Divine within. We are constantly creating with our thoughts, although this creation process happens on the unconscious level. When bad things happen to us, it is because these is bad inside of us that is manifesting out there. When the world is ravaged by war and famine spreads across the land, it is because there is war and famine inside our souls. When we scream at God and say why? - we are screaming at ourselves.

This is the unalienable Truth that has been with my work constantly now for several years. The fact is, we create our world, we are Divine, the Kingdom of Heaven lies within us. Reverse Speech demonstrates this over and over and over again - the Word Within Us constantly creating.

This is the profound truth I found in reverse last night on CNN. TV Evangelist Pat Robertson was responding to a question from Larry King - "Why does God allow suffering?" Backwards he says, "Your whirlwind devil / The word within you."

In reverse speech, "devil" means, mischievous, wicked etc - thus, as he talks about why does evil live in the world, backwards he is telling us why - because of our own selves - the word inside of us that is interacting through the whirlwind to create chaos around us. This is the Truth that we, as a human race, must come to realise next. That we do create it all. And with that knowledge, we must now set ourselves free. Open up the unconscious, begin to learn how this takes place and discover how we can control our destiny rather than merely be its passenger. That is the real emphasis of my work.
